The only real connection is the map.

A later email referenced wetworks, a pool party, and the vineyard. That's the one ppl found first. Most of us ignored that one because it seemed to mean Martha's Vineyard and there was some kind of Bernie event that weekend. So in that context, it just meant shady political shit at Bernies event.

This thing with the movie script is pretty crazy. But it can't exactly be debunked. The map matching the Cibolo Ranch is real. The emails are real. The justification for Podesta having these conversations at all seems like a stretch.

This is one of those pol things that kept me up at night because I went from 100% skeptic to tinfoil hatter based entirely on one of their schizo arrow diagrams.

There's a dead giveaway here. Podesta was Hillary's "campaign strategist." The campaign seemed to exploit the death of Scalia by pushing the narrative: even if you hate Hillary (because everyone does), you NEED to vote for her OR ELSE republicans will ban abortion, wage war against women's rights, etc.. And to expound on the points already made, Obama had the right to nominate Scalia's successor (which he did). However, the only way a nominee actually gets on the beach is by both being nominated by the President AND confirmed by the Senate. Since Republicans held control of the Senate at the time they refused to confirm Obama's nominee and ran out the clock. It was Obama's right to nominate but it is also the right of the Senate to withhold confirmation. One of those checks and balances things. Both the President and Congress (the Senate specifically in this case) get a say-so in who goes to the third branch of government. Since the seat still wasn't filled after Trump got elected he made a nomination of his own (which was confirmed by the Senate).

Spez: now if you really want to get into the weeds, the Constitution does not set the number of Judges on the Supreme Court. The only requirement for a new judge is nomination by the President and Senate confirmation. That said, 9 has pretty much been the agreed upon number for over 200 years now. During the Great Depression though, FDR got pissed at the Supreme Court for overturning some New Deal policies. He threatened to nominate 6 more judges and with the Democrat's hold on the Senate at the time they probably would have gotten on. This is referred to as "packing the bench." We could have a long discussion on whether what the court did was right or wrong but this mechanism is a check on a run-a-away judiciary (notice it requires both the executive and legislative branch). This is another check on the balance of power between the three branches. The Constitution is a beautiful document. Feel free to ask me any questions you may ever have about it.

Last time we had a new president he was forced to have the CIA director as VP. 70 days after inauguration the president was shot but lived. Some other president who spoke about the grave dangers of the CIA have had their head blown off while ridding in a convertible and many of the family members where involved in the government or associated who all died in mysterious ways. A Supreme Court justice is extremely easy to cover up as they aren't necessarily celebrities who draw massive attention.

It wouldn't surprise me. They knew Hillary was a shaky candidate at best, and already believed she would lose the popular vote, but hopefully win the electoral college. This was their chance to get a liberal justice in the court before Trump won the election, and would almost assuredly get one, if not two court picks himself. To attempt to claim at least one seat, they had Scalia killed.

I think someone in the GOP congress knew about the plot, and started the resistance to "let the next president fill the seat", as such a person would also be pretty confident, through the same source that informed them about the hit, that the DNC thought Hillary would lose.

It was a risky gamble that didn't pay off as the Republican congress did the unprecedented thing and blocked the nomination. I can only imagine they would have done such a thing and taken on so much negative press because they knew Scalia did not die of natural causes.

Also had to focus on the hard facts and prioritize the news that would be most beneficial to our cause, to maga. Now that we have secured the presidency and the Supreme Court and CNN is crumbling before our eyes, the stakes are not so high now and we don't have any deadlines so we should look into this further.
