The HDMI support should be as good if not better than the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. The chip has been in use for TV solutions for a year now.

How good will HDMI compatibility be? For example the Pi works on just about every HDMI device I tried. The Pine64 boards, out of 5 HDMI devices only one worked.
