Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) slammed President Trump’s “disgusting” tweets about “Morning Joe” host Mika Brzezinski on Thursday, saying they reflect his attitude toward women.

The former chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) said Trump's latest anti-media attack sends a horrible message to young Americans.

“Women are strong. The weak man in the White House can't change that,” Wasserman Schultz, who has also been a target of Trump on Twitter, said in a three-part tweet storm.

Wasserman Schultz is part of a growing, bipartisan group of lawmakers that has ripped the president for tweeting that "low I.Q. Crazy Mika" was "bleeding badly from a face-lift" during New Years Eve at Mar-a-Lago in December.
