/r/Ethtrader is a weird little cult (self.Buttcoin)

Currently shorting mEth and making good profits, keeping a watch on the /r/ethtrader daily thread to make sure the EEA3 announcement doesn't suddenly drop and screw me over.

Fucking shit I want to smack some of the people in there. The sub is infested with teenagers who somehow got a hold of a few dozen dollars of mEth who want it to be worth a few hundred. And they want other people to do the buying for them. Anyone who sells is a "pussy", anyone who thinks the price might go down is spreading FUD, people who bought at $420 and are "hodling" are literally fucking jesus.

Don't worry about me :), closed those shorts this morning near the bottom. The quick rise did catch me off guard and didn't open any longs. But just shorted 285 -> 267 on 5x margin. Gonna stop trading and go to sleep now before I start making mistakes.

Volume has totally died overnight. Huge bounce made total sense though, that was the trend-line for the last 4 months. I gotta zoom out from the 5-minute chart :þ

Random prediction: Either we shoot up like a rocket-ship like right now or we bounce off that line a few times, go through, then start a multi-month bear market.

I'd actually prefer the bull market to continue, I suck at bear markets, not enough volatility.

Enterprise Ethereum Alliance. There are rumors that a new round of companies will be announced soon (EEA1 and EEA2 were lists of companies joining). Will probably cause a temporary jump in the price.

The funny thing about EEA is that it's just enterprises interested in implementing their own blockchain, based on Ethereum. This should actually not impact ETH price...

I've followed a lot of the EEA stuff. It is true that they are doing stuff on their own private chains. However, in the interviews I have seen, they often talk about creating applications (I mean that in a very broad sense - not a specific "app") that straddle both public and private chains in order to capitalise on the unique properties of each.

Have they had some huge meeting going on during this big runup with all of the ICO launches? I saw someone reference it and it was the only thing that made sense to be doing all of the big ICOs together. But I couldn't find much for the week of June in their event calendar.

I was trying to short right before the big drop at .12. Wound up closing out because I wanted to go to bed. Accidentally left a manual long order. Second time I've done that ... I'm such a moron.
