Those people should just go get jobs...
-
Babies? Old people in nursing homes? Disabled people? How do they get jobs?
-
I think you missed his sarcasm. Kellyanne Conway said recently that ppl without healthcare should just get jobs, HC from employer.
-
There's plenty of people who really mean it unfortunately

Because the CBO has been a credible source for what when?
-
for all those times the GOP used it to criticize Obama on jobs.. Guessing you conveniently forgot that
-
I haven't forgotten the CBO score on the ACA which gave glowing reviews and in reality terrible outcomes.
-
Really why didn't Senator Murphy cite that the CBO said that ACA would reduce the costs of health insurance & lower deficits by 120bn? Weird
-
except that was an apples to apples comparison with healthcare/deficits without ACA; not on absolute scale. Lower under ACA than without ACA
-
There is no way subsidizing an additional 17mm people is deficit positive.

Or the employers could just go out of business because of insurance price insolvency. So then people wouldn't have jobs or health insurance
-
yes, correct, employers who can't provide for their employees to live should not be operational
-
That's not the point of employers. Businesses exist to make a profit, everything else is based on being profitable. Read business 101.
-
then what good are they? Read philosophy 101.
-
Philosophy is nice, but business exists in the real world with real economic effects and real consequences for owner and employee alike.
-
sure, but employers who can't operate and profit while allowing employees to live/support themselves have no business operating
-
Many large businesses would prefer single payer as they want to concentrate on their own biz, not worrying about reselling healthcare, too!
-
My company could save ridiculous amounts of money, staff and headaches if we had single payer.
