Is theRedPill dying? (self.MGTOW)

With almost 10 times the number of subscribers but only a little over twice our active user count, is the Red Pill subreddit dying? I haven't been tracking it, just noticed this today.

At its peak, it had some positive energy and an upbeat, solution-oriented vibe, but just like the concept of holding frame, this type of existence can only be temporarily maintained. All these men will be burned out by the parasitic creatures known as women either from endless rejection of the most bitter kind, or even if they found acceptance, then a restriction on their time, wealth, and sanity. In contrast, MGTOW is an overarching life philosophy and to contribute, you only have to exist, you don't have to listen to hype-man after hype-man and try to act your way to success. It's very peaceful and can be maintained indefinitely (with the end result a plethora of material wealth, peace, and sanity) and therefore it is superior. MGTOW for life.

I think that right now the move is to go with avoiding women all together. TRP seemed mostly about an almost PUA approach and pining for the "old days" where women had no sex partners and you could just grab one and she'd be thin and pretty and submissive.

The problem with this is that you think there's magic unicorns (there aren't) and that they won't divorce you (they will) or cheat on you, or believe in "pair bonding" like women are ducks or something you can imprint on.

The idea that you can get a woman who is incapable of divorce or cheating is the realm of psychological fantasy. People change all throughout their lives. This isn't the 1800s. Women can leave any time they decide to.

These days women cheat in a number of ways. Like we say here about branch swinging, the moment she can find someone better, she'll move on. But the way they lay the foundation is something else...

Here's one tactic I see a lot:

Girl is out of shape and with her provider/rebound relationship because girls can't be single. Starts getting in shape and starts posting progressively more revealing pics of herself on social media (baiting a new partner)

Seems like their innocent game is more than that after you can use your new red pilled eyes.

And their bf can't call them out on this because she can just say that he's being ridiculous...holding frame my ass...these are red flags that she's done and looking for greener pastures

there is one thing all those "lifting alphas" over there dont realize. The final and most bitter of the "Red Pills".

  • Whatever they do, However they do it, however "uplifting, positive etc." kind of existence they pursue...they do it all for pussy.

There is a glaringly obvious paradox in their Philosophy. "Alpha" basically means "Supreme" or "Topdog". Since all they do, they do for Pussy, it is the Pussy that is the true "Alpha", while they are ALL Betas of varying degrees.

As long as you realize and understand that, no absolutely not. Pussy can be a goal for men like success in business, sports etc. Thats not the problem.

Many though think they control women when in fact its the other way around. The so called "Alpha" Mentality is misleading.

I hope TRP isn't dying, TRP and MGTOW are the closest representations of the truth we currently have. The quality of posters they have are contributing massively to our corpus.

Maybe it's only weakness is that it gives false hope to men, seems very little admission that if you're a ugly or just average bloke you're pretty much fucked in today's dating world. We've entered into a winner takes all phase, be Chad or go hungry. No amount of self improvement is going to turn you into Chad unless you were almost there to begin with sadly. Just because you lift and learn to hold frame won't give you a harem like Chad (although I still think you should lift and hold frame). That's why I have slight preference for MGTOW, it's a much harsher, raw version of the the red pill.

Difficulty getting a woman to sleep with you is only a small part of the problem. The bigger problem is when women screw up your life whether you've managed to get them to sleep with you or not.

I'm pretty sure I could get a reasonable-looking woman to sleep with me if I wanted to. The problem is the cost is just too high, and I'm not talking about hiring prostitutes. She would be sleeping with me because she wants to get her hands on my money, and there are lots of ways to do that which don't require her to continue to sleep with me.

Mgtow and redpill are similar. Mgtow are realists who realize that there is no solution to the problem. Redpills are trying to solve the issue by stealth.

the bulk of MGTOW posts are memes helping us get over redpill rage. TRP doesn't celebrate that, and the bulk of info that needs to be said about TRP is already in the sidebar.

MGTOW and TRP believe in the same fundamental truths. the only difference is what they do about it. TRP says "lift, improve your life, kick lots of ass, never commit, fuck a bunch of hoes" while MGTOW says "nope out of that shit entirely."
