I hear MGTOW being bantered around by talking heads saying its a political movement, or the MGTOW movement, or ideology, etc.
What do you consider it to be?
I've always assumed, and treated it, as a life philosophy, irrespective of relationships and women, its good advice without that part, however a large part about it, is living your own life, which means throwing off shackles of societal control, which does come down to rejecting women. Not because they're horrible (although they are product of their culture) to life but because they take over yours. So you can't be with women, and be MGTOW.
Whether you look at that as marriage or relationships in general.
Sometimes people are matching it with MRA when disparaging it, which I get, since men are involved in both, but I've never thought it was political, because no one is asking to change anything, but rather recognizing the situation and responding to it.
I don't see it as an ideology, as it may be a system of ideas and ideals, but usually that is the basis for a political theory or movement, which would seem like a more MRA activity.
What do you think? Are you trying to (or supporting) making political or cultural changes? Just walking away? Is there any change that would make you leave MGTOW?
