"The common thread seems to be a lack of interest in the actual threat." @andersoncooper is #KeepingThemHonest https://t.co/QPIaC45MKw
— Anderson Cooper 360° (@AC360) June 24, 2017
Anderson Cooper opened tonight’s AC360 by covering the big Washington Post report on Russian interference in the election, and remarking that none of this seems to be bothering the Trump White House at all.
“Neither today’s dramatic story,” Cooper said, “nor the actual Russian hacking nor the ongoing threat to future U.S. elections seem to be raising much concern within the White House, or even much curiosity.”
He brought up Kellyanne Conway‘s contentious interview with Alisyn Camerota this morning, in which she said “we saw a lot of people interfering with our democracy by saying [Trump] couldn’t win.”
Cooper then looked at the “a lack of interest in the actual threat” from the President himself, going back to the comments he made on the campaign trail about Russia.
