I worked at a KFC for two days once. I was hired as a cook. They had colored stickers on the bags of chicken in their freezer. Dark meat was one color and light meat was another color. I think one was purple and the other was blue. So, I'm on day two and the "trainer" has basically let me loose; No supervision at all. The front tells me they need more light meat. So, I go to the back and grab what I thought was the light meat - completely unaware of this color system still. I just remembered that was the area we took it from before. Turns out it was dark meat, and nobody knew until I had already cooked it. I didn't eat much KFC and couldn't tell the difference between the two by looking at it. They tell me "no big deal" and have me try again. They briefly mention the color system to me, but I must have heard incorrectly which was which (again, this is day two and I have zero supervision). So, I grab the next bag and cook it. The look on their face as I present them with another tray of fully cooked dark meat was terrifying. Once again they explain the color system. I repeat it back to them. The restaurant is completely out of light meat at this point. Customers are waiting. I rush to the back, repeating the correct sticker color in my head. I grab a bag. I cook it. I present it to them...now, to this day I still don't know what happened. Maybe the sticker was wrong on this bag. Maybe with the frost on the bag or the dim lighting in the freezer, I thought one color looked like another. Maybe I was subconsciously sabotaging myself so I wouldn't have to work there. Whatever the reason, when I handed them the third tray of dark meat, I knew I had to quit.

TLDR: Sometimes your food takes longer than usual because people like myself get jobs that they have no business having.
