As I said in my previous post, I'd be posting the results to the survey for our amazingly unique, and tremendously infamous sassy manarchist subreddit. The survey is now closed, so don't bother responding. Anyway, as promised, here is the data. Here is what we found:
We had 550 respondents total. Considering there were 1370 views (although reddit's view counting system is odd to say the least), this means that 40.15% of you who saw it actually participated. That was way higher than I expected, especially from /r/Drama members, which tend to be lazy. Some of you obviously lied on the survey, but no responses were removed.
A lot of you, about 65% are white (excluding Hispanic whites, which make up 6%). Jewish people (who are technically mayo, but are counted differently for the purpose of this survey) make up 38 members, or about 7% of /r/Drama. This means that when /u/SnapshillBot says that "the Jews did this", there is a not insignificant chance that its actually that.
We have 28 (5.09%) Asians or Pacific Islanders and 13 (2.36%) hapas folks, 16 (2.91%) black folks. These responses are combining some of the ones that are relatively close to actual responses (for example, the one respondent who wrote-in "Aryan" was changed to "Mayo".
Unsurprisingly, most /r/Drama members are relatively young. The 18-24 and 25-34 age brackets make up 79.64% of /r/Drama. 21 of you said they were 65 or over. I have my doubts on how many of you respondents were truthful on this. It really makes you think. 🤔
Moving on, it's quite a sausagefest (breakdown by percentage) here, with 442 (80.36%) of you males. 90.18% of you are cis, while 9.82% do not identify that way. Seven (1.27%) identify as trans and 21 (3.82%) are nonbinary or genderqueer. The trans numbers however are hard to accurately nail down. On a related note, sexuality. Degeneracy is unfortunately a really common occurrence on this subreddit with 66.18% of the members this way. 45 (8.18%) are homosexual, and 96 (17.45%) are bisexual or pansexual. 11 (2.00%) do not identify as any of the options.
/r/Drama, from what we can tell, is poor. 38.73% of you make no income whatsoever. After that however, income appears to go up. Non-NEET users with no income is only 10 more than the amount of users who make $50,000 or more/year (146 (26.55%)). A lot of you (241 (43.82%)), however, are currently employed for wages. Here is the employment status as a pie chart.
Unfortunately for us, loving the poorly educated may not be necessary as we tend to be pretty well educated (breakdown by percentage), which may come as a surprise when things like this get posted. This also may be affirmative action at work.
At the moment, a bit over half of you are single (breakdown by percentage), with 35 (6.36%) of you being incels, and 36 (6.55%) of you doing something illegal that I really don't want to know.
Onto religion. Most of you are either atheist or agnostic (breakdown by percentage), although there are some God-fearing men or women. There were some interesting selections for "Other". A shockingly low number of you wrote in something to do with bussy.
/r/Drama is filled to the brim with liberals (breakdown by percentage). 124 (22.55%) of you are South Park Neutral (this includes those who selected Other and put stuff like "I don't care about politics"), however there are 136 (24.73%) liberals (not including those who selected Neoliberal). Like before, I was shocked that almost no one put in a variation on mayocide (there were two (0.36%)).
Most of you are from North America or Europe (451 (82.00%) of you, in fact, breakdown by percentage), although we have some New Zealanders and Aussies in here.
Over half of you have an account from three years old to five years old (breakdown by percentage). This follows a bell curve.
Let's get intimate
/r/Drama unsurprisingly has users with fetishes. Here is the breakdown of all of them. I may edit this post with a more readable list. Y'all need Jesus.
About your fellow users...
161 (29.27%) of you selected /u/snallygaster as your favorite mod (breakdown by percentage) and 323 (58.73%) liked snally. 14.18% of you didn't select anyone as a mod you liked.
124 (22.55%) of you selected /u/riemann1413 as your least favorite mod (breakdown by percentage) and 191 (34.72%) of you just don't like something about riemann, but just can't but your finger on it. 26.00% of you didn't dislike any moderators.
/u/The_Reason_Trump_Won was your favorite user (breakdown by percentage). Despite being a required question, 31 of you said a variation on "None". Everyone on the graph got two or more votes.
A lot of you do not like /u/Prince_Kropotkin. He got least favorite user (breakdown by percentage) by over three times what the next person /u/The_Reason_Trump_Won got.
It was a close race between /u/Jewdank and /u/AngryDM on best lolcow (breakdown by percentage), but Jewdank came on top in the end.
But who drives their agenda into everyone's throats? That would be /u/Prince_Kropotkin, according a large portion of you (breakdown by percentage). A lot of you are dumb and said "no one". It probably shouldn't have been a write-in question. A lot of you also said my mother. While she does agendapost, her agenda is correct.
A lot of you like these types of dramas (breakdown by percentage). There are a lot of you who like gender wars and political drama, which probably explains the uptick.
On memes, you seem to like mayocide, unsurprisingly (breakdown by percentage). All respondents were includend here (in the previous ones, some were grouped into an Other category).
On Opinions...
Most of you are in favor of canning the SRDine (breakdown by percentage), but most of you are near the middle (breakdown by percentage) when it comes to social justice issues. Over three quarters of you (breakdown by percentage) do not talk about reddit in real life, which may be a good thing, since almost half of you (breakdown by percentage) visit /r/Drama primarily.
Over a quarter of you (breakdown by percentage) are still REEEEing to this day about GamerGate, although over half of you (breakdown by percentage) like some things about feminism.
/r/Drama is classified by most of its members as being south park neutral (breakdown by percentage).
290 (52.73%) of you said that kaalaaaa (you better hope I don't know where you live) would win, barely just beating out the 260 (47.27%) of you who said that noodles (arf arf) would win. Here is the percentage breakdown.
Finally...
281 (51.09%) of you suggested a SnapshillBot quote, 273 (49.63%) of you messaged the moderators (link only available to mods), and 276 (50.18%) of you wrote a final comment.
