According to a sticky post made by MAT mod barawoo33 at 7:20 EST the /r/MarchAgainstTrump subreddit is being shut down in an alleged act of direct censorship coming from the President's administration. This has come in the midst of their latest frontpage locked comment Obama shitpost topping out at ~20k net upvotes. They are still encouraging user to subscribe to their new sub /r/Political_Tweets as well as joining the official MAT Discord server. No word on the validity of the alleged censorship.

Will update with more details as they happen.

Edit 2: With this confirmed as a hoax/karmagrab off the drama I feel it lends further credence to the theory that MAT is actually a false flag spam sub run by Trump supporters. I find it all pretty interesting. Especially all the rumors and infighting that the sub is actually a farce being run by Donald Trump supporters. I'm about to go get some popcorn as well and keep an eye on this

Judging by the post, it looks like the admins yelled at him for doing the same thing /r/t_d did, and that the "receiving pressure from the Trump administration" is just conjecture.

I'm not a fan of the spamminess of the sub or barawoo33's karmawhoring. And I would personally not like to see another fill it's shoes. Guess I just downvoted the one comment in disagreement, not on content relevancy. That's it really.

This is getting out of hand! The mods might ban this sub almost immediately while they keep turning a blind eye to the T-B==D even though it has broken the rules several times and spreads total bullshit like a cancer.

Who cares? MAT isnt actually a real sub. It's merely a place to upvote 1 link per day, before moving onto the next one to do the same. It only exists to get around the Reddit algorithm and spam /r/all. Banning it would do nothing but cause the creation of another anti-trump spam sub. Honestly, t_D is way less annoying because it's easily filterable.
