he loves shredded cheese and paper towels. any time another dog barks at him to scare him away from their house, he sits down happily, as if thinking “I made a new barky friend!” he can’t really bark or howl, but when he looks like he is trying, me or my brother will bark or howl for him, and it seems to make him happy. he’s got lots of extra skin that serves as ablative armor when play-fighting with other dogs, and makes him floppy and wiggly when you grab him. he explores the world with his face and always loves it; after a rainstorm, when taking a walk, he once just stuck out his tongue into a trickle of rainwater near the curb and walked down the street dragging his tongue through it. he’s the calmest, chillest husky anyone has ever seen, and when his laryngeal paralysis means he gets tired or overheated, he just sits in the shade, looks at you, and smiles.
he’s a really, really good boy.
