Fun Campaign Goals (Like Achievements)

PostPosted by TargaryenBlood » Sat May 20, 2017 02:33

I've been thinking of a few campaign goals like this. Just nifty things that would lead to interesting challenges.
The one I came up with is called "King of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men" and the win condition is:
Be King of Andalos and own the whole kingdom
Own the entire Rhoyne river area.
Own the entire Kingdom Beyond the Wall

Bonus Points:
Start Beyond the Wall or in Andalos
Do not expand away from your targets for power. Play strategically and carefully, with every move being in some way directly toward your goals.
Do it without Dragons.

Set an arbitrary number like say 35... Then try and get that many for a unique name on a title. So like Aenorian XXXV

Great Rhoynish Restoration.
Become King of Dorne, the Kingdom of Volantis and all the Rhoynish culture provinces in the Rhoyne Valley. Restore ALL colonies in the Rhoyne.
Start as Doran Martell as an added bonus to make Preston Jacobs happy

Return of the river kings: select a single county as house Mudd or Justman, reclaim the riverlands and win your independence from the iron throne. Maintain indeependence.

Theres bronze in these mountains: As house Royce, remove and replace house Arryn, win independence, maintain it.

The rule of the black kings: As house Hoare, survive the curse, rebuild Harrenhal and reclaim the kingdom of the rivers and the isles.

On these you play without houses having ancient claims as well as without fabricating claims forcing you to plan your marriages in order to expand and reclaim.

The Westerosi Empire: as a cruel and zealous Westerosi king on the new bookmark, conquer valyria, destroy the rhollor and valyrian and faith.

The Targaryen Empire: As the Targaryens, conquer Westeros and slaughter or replace anyone who is the faith of the seven. Proceed to do the same with rhollor woshippers on Essos.

Pick a house and render it extinct without gaining any tyranny.
Collect all Valyrian steel swords.
As a First Men culture drive the Andals, Rhoynar and Valyrians from Westeros.
As holder of the Iron Throne get your kingsguard to consist entirely of members of your dynasty.
Get your dynasty to hold every king-tier title.

Those are just some of the things I like to attempt.

Its even more fun to start as an Orphan of the Greenblood, make a Rhoynish character that controls one of the provinces along the river. I made a custom house just for the goal of establishing the Rhoynar, the proud Shrikes of House Laynid.
The political machinations you have to do to get controll of the Rhoyne and its colonies makes it challenging and fun!
