This is too long to post as a comment and I'm going to give you guys a very good and lengthy breakdown of what happened at the taping. It was so GAG worthy that I honestly recommend that you DO NOT spoil it yourself. Reddit did NOT prepare me for what I witnessed and I think I peed myself a little bit out of sheer excitement of what happened.

Miss Congeniality was NOT announced during the taping, therefore it's probably in the reunion.

They started off by showing us the top 4 episode when we got in, which was great since everyone in line seemed to be concerned about that. Once it was over, around 6:30, Bob was our MC for the pre-show portion that remained. They had the Drag Queen Royalty walk the runway and then Jaidynn Diore Fierce and India Farrah performed separately. Some B-roll footage was captured too, but that was about it. Once the curtain got raised and we saw the set, the S9 girls came out in elimination order, as usual. Jaymes had the quietest claps, but Kimora had the shortest amount of claps, so they were def in the bottom for fan favorites. Everyone lost their minds over Valentina and started chanting her name, she did change her dress from the red carpet and its SO much better! Nina and Peppermint also had a wardrobe change from the red carpet too. When the top 4 were coming out, the cheers from loudest to quietest were: Sasha, Shea, Trinity, and Peppermint. After that Ru announced: The top 4 would be competing in a lip sync style tournament to be crowned the winner of Season 9. After that, the title credits ran on the screens and the queens started to walk off stage and then Valentina's name started to get chanted again.

Coming back, Ru said that the house was overbooked and she needed to find a seat for an old friend of hers and was asking people to give up their seats. She "randomly" chose a seat, which was India Farrah's, and had security come escort her out. Naturally, it was none other than Mimi Imfurst who came down the aisle, picked her up like in S3, and walked out with her. Then Porkchop came in and took India's seat, now that Ru had made on available for her. After this skit, it was the first of many times that Ru needed a touch up and none other than Raven and Delta, out of drag, came out to do this for her.

Peppermint's Interview:

• Peppermint's interview was mostly about how it was for her being a Trans woman and still doing drag. She got a video message from Laverne Cox condragulating her. Ru asked who she wants to lip sync against, Trinity, who she does not want to lip sync against, I can't remember but hecklers were calling names out, what would she do with the $100,000, she joking said she'd buy at least one more pink skirt, and what does it mean to her to be America's next Drag Superstar. She got a few fan questions, one was about why is she so nice and she said "'Cause I am b." in reference to C.L.A.T. After these questions, she asked Pep if she's heard from Sarge yet, to which she hasn't. Unfortunately, Sarge was off the clock for the night, so he was unable to attend the reunion. However! Wintergreen was free and made a guest appearance and shocked Pep! She's just as charming as shown on the TV and was so funny with the 3-5 sentences she said. There were a surprising amount of audience members shouting out at the girls on stage this year, considering it didn't happen at all last year, and most of it was in the middle of Peppermints talks so we'll see how that gets edited.

Sasha's Interview:

• Ru asked Sasha why Queer history is so important to her and Sasha brought up the joke on Reddit where if you say a sad story in the mirror three times, she'll appear. As with all the girls, Ru asked who she wants to lip sync against, Trinity, who she does not want to lip sync against, I want to say Shea but hecklers were calling names out, what would she do with the $100,000, she jokingly said hair plugs at first, and what does it mean to her to be America's next Drag Superstar. Along with this, she got an audio message from Katy Perry saying how much Katy loves Sasha and her artistic mind. Sasha's Fan questions were What are the best and worst gifts you've received, Fan art are the best and gifts for her dog are the worst because her dog is more popular than she is, and what her favourite piece of art is, to which we got a 10 minute lecture about a piece of art I cannot remember at 3am. One of the last things done was asking Sasha's dad what he thinks of Sasha and he said that originally, he believed Sasha to be too creative to go on this show, but eventually saw that he was wrong. Finally, Sasha was asked what did she think her mom would say to her if she was still alive. Sasha immediate said "too much" while pointing to her outfit, and elaborated by saying the her mother was a very modest person and influenced the turtlenecks that she always wears.

Shea's Interview:

• One of the first things that Ru asked Shea is how was she and her mother doing after a rough year. It turns out that Shea lost both her father and sister to cancer within months of each other at the beginning of this season airing. Again, Ru asked who she wants to lip sync against, Trinity, who she does not want to lip sync against, an audience member yelled out Sasha and Shea replied with "I believe she was talking to me not you" and said that she's a messy bitch would would love to lip sync against Sasha for that reason, what would she do with the $100,000,she said she wanted to pay off student loans, and what does it mean to her to be America's next Drag Superstar. I don't remember what Fan questions she got asked, but when Trya got to the mic to ask it, about 30% of the audience actually boo-ed her when she got to the mic. Shea got a video from Balc Chyna condragulating her on a job well done in the Kardashian challenge.

Trinity's Interview:

• One of the first things that Trinity got was a message of Amanda Lepore on her snatch game. They also asked Trinity about Leo, her new boyfriend. They've been together for a few months, but essentially Leo saw her on Drag race and then chased her down. Michelle had a question from someone in Brazil and said "Trinity, why don't you come to Brazil!" It was a joke, but I can't remember the real question. Something to do about getting plastic surgery done and Trinity said to make sure you do research so you don't end up looking like her. Last time, Ru asked who she wants to lip sync against, Peppermint because if she's going to lose she wants to lose to the best, who she does not want to lip sync against, she said she'd take them all on, what would she do with the $100,000, and what does it mean to her to be America's next Drag Superstar.

The following part will contain the lip sync tournament I will not be marking it as a spoiler since it'll be a few paragraphs. Turn back now if you do not want that spoiled for you!

A massive wheel was brought out with all four queens names on it and Ru gave it a spin, a little too hard and we had to wait for a bit, and ultimately landed on Trinity. Since it landed on her, she had to go first BUT was able to chose who she wanted and went with Peppermint. Since Peppermint was chosen by Trinity, she had to choose box 1 or box 2 to determine which song they were going to lip sync to, they were given them prior to study. Peppermint went based off of crowd reactions and chose box 2, revealing Stronger by Britney Spears. Everything was removed from the stage and set up for them to go at it, and after a quick audio check, boy, did they go at it. Trinity was killing it with all the dance moves and a mini skirt tear away to a one piece swimsuit towards the beginning. Then halfway through the song, Peppermint did a wig AND dress reveal that was SO stunning. It worked perfectly and flawless and you'll all GAG when you see it. EVERYONE stood up and started cheering and SCREAMING after this happened. Once the song ended, fun fact what we see in the ep is in fact how long those songs are, Ru walked off set to think about it I believe. Once she came back, people started chanting for Peppermint to win, Ru said her standard lines about making her decisions, these were legit the longest 2 minutes, and finally declared Peppermint as the winner. The crowd went nuts yelling for her and Ru brought out Sasha and Shea to get ready for their lip sync, So Emotional by Whitney Houston. Shea turned the party, but Sasha, oh Sasha. What she did was so incredible and amazing.

The song started off with them both in place and Sasha had a rose that she crumble apart and threw on the ground. Both girls continued to lip sync and then Sasha started to wiggle one of her gloves off. As the song built up, she ripped the glove off and all of these rose petals came out of her glove and showered the stage and then repeated this with the other glove a little bit later. While this was going on, Shea was in the background dancing away and SLIPPED on the steam of the rose in the beginning Sasha used, but didn't fall and recovered nicely. The crowd was already going nuts at this point and then at the end Sasha bent over and began to fake cry, removed her wig, and then a WATERFALL of fake petals danced around her fitting to the song perfectly and it was FUCKING art and so amazing!! The crowd was in a frenzy chanting Sasha's name, Ru walked off set to think about it again. Once she came back, people were still chanting for Sasha to win, Ru said her standard lines about making her decisions, these were legit the longest 2 minutes, and finally declared Sasha as the winner.

Ru did some B roll footage of her and some VO work for promos as our Top 2, Sasha and Peppermint, got ready. They came back and Sasha's outfit was AMAZING and had a full face mask on, Peppermints was a choice. They got into places to lip sync to It's Not Right, but It's Okay by Whitney Houston, and when the song started, Sasha removed the mouth piece of the mask so you could see her lips moving, but her upper face was still covered. The lip sync was fierce! Peppermint made it look like she was getting shocked at one point and Sasha was doing so well keeping up with her. During the high point of the song, Sasha split her mask in half, revealing her face with her standard make up AND WE ALL ATE THAT SHIT UP!!! It was at that point we knew Sasha had won Season 9, but there was a bit more of the lip sync to go. Peppermint never had a reveal of any kind, but did an amazing job with the song.

As normal, both queens were filmed winning in alphabetical order so we don't know who won. Peppermint gave a speech about thanking non-binary people and "the others" who felt like they didn't belong in a place. Sasha said that it's time to change the mutherfucking world and then did her scream from her entrance. Overall, the audience received this new method very positively and did not "riot" or yell that Trinity or Shea were robbed at all. Bob's finale look was great! It's not as good as violets, but its good for bob, very bebe-esque
