All over this subreddit, I constantly see hateful and violent rhetoric directed at the cast and crew of the newest movie, and sometimes against its fans as well. People talking about how they'd pass over any prize in the world to kick Paul Feig in the nuts or telling him to kill himself or making claims that Leslie Jones isn't an actress or calling people cucks.

I'm sure I'll catch a lot of flack for this - after all, anyone who liked the new movie MUST be a corporate shill. But seriously, all of you? GROW THE FUCK UP. You wonder why everyone calls you trolls and misogynists? Well, it's cause that's how you're acting. We can be better than this, we should be better than this. We could be a little collection of people who love Ghostbusters, even if we argue over which parts of the franchise we like more and less. Some people don't like the new movie, that's fine. I honestly don't think most of The Real Ghostbusters was that good, and a lot of people love those cartoons. But that's not how things are going, and it's really, really frustrating.
