Game launches only produces cursor and music
If I find a solution I'll let you know. 1280x768 fullscreen, nothing changed from what the game detected at launcher.

It will display when it's windowed, but not fullscreen.

It works for me if I go windowed, didn't check bordless yet. Updating graphics drivers first as I see there were newer ones.

Should note I also scale my resolution, but that really should make zero difference.

How do you make the game go windowed?

In the launcher, in the bottom left, there's a button for muting music, and a button for changing settings.

I'm going to try disabling the steam overlay too as that caused Fullscreen to not work on other paradox titles for me. Namely CK2.

EDIT: disabling the overlay did not work, but it did seem to "load more". I got a black screen instead of just my desktop with the cursors.

EDIT II: Bordless using same as desktop loads fast and looks ok. Just so lame.

Okay, this was an issue in Stellaris as well. Set the game to windowed full screen in the settings in the launcher and it should work.

windowed or bordless window are working for me, I just tend to get way better performance out of fullscreen on most games. We'll see how this goes.

I should point out, while I don't have the lastest hardware, I have pretty good hardware for the gen just before that, GTX760, ik2500k, win7. My only unique situation in my setup is scaling my display because I use a TV as a monitor.
