When rape victims ACTUALLY work up the nerve to report it, we get discredited. It's an outrage. Why even make it illegal? They get away w it

God I hate to "lawyersplain," but they didn't hear from 60 women in the trial. They heard from I think 2 victims. Still an abhorrent result.
-
And I should add that a huge contributing factor of the abhorrent result was that the jury could not hear from more of the victims.

How exactly did they try explain away all the allegations? I want to know this.

Justice in America is equal to the money you can spend on your defense. Add fame to the equation & it spells disaster.

The last 2 days have been a disappointment. Philandro should be alive & his killer & Cosby should've been convicted. I'm sad for everyone.

Disappointment is a permanent state of Being in these United Snakes of America these days.

No. SOME of the jury believed him. Some of them wouldn't give up their position that he is guilty. Mistrial isn't innocent.

Statistics are grim, as are attitudes. My own dad asked if I'd been outside in my bikini. Well, duh, it's FL, everyone wears a bikini.pic.twitter.com/bOZTObogOW

I know a prosecutor who has had to advise victims not to prosecute because he knew a jury wouldn't convict because the victim was drunk :(
-
And the awful trial experience would be for nothing due to the asshole "peers" the courts would have judging the victims. Ugh.
