Surviving Military Sexual Slavery: Testimonies from the "Comfort Women"

During the 1930s and the Second World War, the Japanese Imperial Military forced more than 200,000 women into sexual slavery. Two Korean women who were victims of this atrocity (often referred to as the "comfort women") are coming to Yale Law School to talk about their survival. There are only a handful of survivors who are physically able to travel and address an audience; this is an incredibly rare and treasured opportunity to hear directly from survivors who have been the face of the quest for justice. Please join us in honoring the remarkable courage and dignity of these two "comfort women."
