Tariq Nasheed, the anti-racist strategist as he calls himself on twitter, has some words about black women who enjoy cosplaying.

But don’t worry, he’s an anti-racist strategist, so he’s totally not a racist guise.

Black people are far from being the only ones who suffer from white people

Korea, a country that typically excludes other races and often prefers the majority group (koreans) to be in everything, shows you a glimpse of diversity, and you crap all over it. Like you are seriously getting mad at a racial minority being sucessful in a country where they norally wouldnt have a chance because of their race.

At least one of those guys is clearly Asian. But i guess anyone who’s lighter than you is automatically white.

You dont actually care about diversity or equality. You just want to hate white people in an environment where hating them for their skin color is okay.

Wonder Woman stopped being woke the minute people realised that it was moderately competently executed and fun to watch.

When it also became a box office success, it turned from meh into problematic, but too many pieces calling it empowering for girls had already been written.

In the sum total, seeing Wonder Woman became a politically neutral thing again.

Fun fact: Notch used to be make sizeable recurring monthly donations to a certain game developer’s Patreon in 2014.

Now he’s caught on to how spiteful and vindictive she is, not at first realising she is the same woman he thought on his side three years ago, because she changed her twitter handle.

Meta-point: When you lean to the left (or right, respectively) and another person claims to be both politically on the left (or right, respectively) and motivated by empathy (or compassion or charity or justice), you tend to believe them, and to believe that their opponents must have directly antagonistic motivations.

It becomes incredibly hard to criticise people’s methods for being counterproductive, or just ineffective.

Any criticism of methods gets pattern-matched into concern trolling, which is criticism coming from the other side, disguised as methodical criticism coming from the ingroup.

If I were rich, I’d just keep donating money in a petty “amuse me, nimrod” sort of sense.

Lecturer: Oedipus was a character from Greek mythology. He was the son of Laius and…uh…um…

Me: Jocasta?

Lecturer: No, that was his wi…wait, I’m an idiot.

Also from the same lecture:

Lecturer: Also, there are many alternative sexualities today. Some people believe that they’re not their biological sex. These people are called transgender. Other people believe that they’re not even human, and identify as types of animals. These people are called transhuman.

Tumblr’s hatred of The Straights is probably why they also hate bisexuals, pansexuals, asexuals, and aromantics.

this has been in my drafts for months and I just decided to post it. @melancholy-angel

LOLWHAT THE FUCK OPWHAT DOES THIS EVEN MEI KINDA GET IT THOUGH BECAUSE M/F COUPLES GET CALLED HET SHIPS WHEN ONE OF THEM CAN BE BII WOULD HAVE SAID THAT THE HATRED OF M/F COUPLES IS WHY THEY HATE THOSE GROUP OF PEOPLE???

It’s precisely what you said in the tags.

They hate straight people so much that:

- Asexuals and aromantics are told they aren’t “really” LGBT  and are straight.

- Bisexual and pansexual people in opposite-sex relationships are perpetually erased.

- Straight trans people get shit on for being straight

- LGBT people are repeatedly called straight if they don’t ship M/M or M/F couples or have LGBT headcanons for certain characters.

- Characters who are Bisexual/pansexual are often called gay/lesbian despite having shown expressed attraction or interest in the opposite sex. (Korra, Asami from Avatar, Yuri from Yuuri on Ice, etc.)

- The culture that if you aren’t hating straight people then you aren’t LGBT.

- People like het-repulsion-zone who repeatedly erase bisexual characters because they hate ~straight people~ and ~heteronormality~. Seriously yo, their entire blog is shit that is basically hating on any perceived notion of straightness and is full of biphobia.

- The idea that being straight is inherently bad or a lesser sexuality.

- The massive amount of people who think that this is somehow a jab at lesbians or somehow related to homophobia and totally missed the damn point. This post literally doesn’t mention gay men or women and is exclusively related to the hatred of ~The Straights~

- Everything related to ~straight passing privilage~

- The fact that Gay Men have basically been equated to ~the straights~ of the lgbt community

The hatred of m/f couples still links back to their hatred of straightness or the perception of something being straight even if one of the characters is bisexual.

Lmao this post is like horrifically bad and homophobic shame on everybody who worked together to make me read this with my own 2 eyes

“Bi/panphobia is really just heterophobia in disguise” really????? Lol

Here’s an idea: maybe biphobic gay people are *gasp* BIPHOBIC. Quit scapegoating it’s not a good look. Lgbt folks are allowed to be repulsed by straightness and het ships, and bi/panphobia are their own issues. Shut the fuck up please

Oh shut up. At what point did anyone say that bi / panphobia is just heterophobia? Where did I say that bi/pan phobia isn’t its own issue?

If your repulsion of straightness and het ships cause you to be bi and panphobic, to relentlessly stalk and harss LGBT people because of headcanons/ships, to erase bisexuality in media and characters because they can’t possibly be attracted to the opposite sex, where you can, with no sense of irony what so ever, say that gay men are the “straights” of the LGBT community… then it comes from your issue with straight people and that maybe if you didn’t hate ~dem damn straights~ so much  you wouldn’t be throwing other LGBT people under the buss to satisfy your hatred of straight people.

Now, you please. Kindly… shut hte fuck up.

And stop defending people who throw other LGBT people under the bus because they have any sort of precieved straightness.

Not to mention how toxic their obsession for lgtb+ ships is. Just look at how the Voltron fandom or how part of the Tokyo Ghoul fandom went nasty crazy and threatened he author because he made a het ship become canon instead of their precious gay ships, going as far as to tell him to kill himself.

It’s disgusting overall. They demand respect without respecting, want allies but at the same time talk shit about them, and the fact that they throw other lgtb+ people who disagree with them under the bus just makes it worse.

All Issues Are Wedge Issues

Years ago, a government minister was asked why he proposed to increase welfare while raising taxes at the same times. The welfare money did not actually help to the people in need. He answered on an accidentally hot mic “You see, Iwan, wages and pensions have been stagnant for two years. This scheme will raise average wages on paper and divert welfare money into pension funds. Retirees are our base. We can’t not raise pension in an election year. It would be political suicide!“

I have a friend who sometimes volunteers for a left-wing party. He’s friends with many activists and left-wing think tank pilots. I asked his party friends at his birthday party: “Why don’t you support the elimination of welfare cliffs, or simplifying tax law, or a version of the paperwork reduction act, or a version of FOIA?“ They agreed that all of these were sensible ideas with potentially broad popular and multi-partisan parliamentary support. That was precisely the problem: “Why would anybody vote for us specifically if we just did the same shit as everybody else. Why not let the conservatives spend their political capital on bureaucracy? What if we make a big deal out of this and then moderates agree and steal our votes? If conservatives or moderates proposed this, we would have to oppose on principle. If social democrats proposed this maybe we would support it. If Marxists come out against bureaucracy we will be surprised. But why waste time on this instead of minimum wage? Our constituents are all poor people anyway. The middle class and self-employed people are affected by complicated taxes. They don’t vote for us anyway. It would be political suicide!“
