I’ve recently needed to spend time in my former State. Visited my couple close friends, cut several others loose. Most are married or in a long term relationshit.
I was always known as a nice guy. I swilled down red pills like a fiend in the weeks before I left, however they all still knew me as blue pill, nice, malleable… blah blah.
Last year was the last time I’ve seen them. Most had a bone to pick with me for leaving the plantation the way I did. Not getting married, breaking their friends heart, no apologies, very few goodbyes. I knew this wasn’t going to be pleasant.
I went to a potluck I was told to avoid. I figured, screw it, they’ll all be there and it’ll save me time. Get this Trapper bashing show started.
At this point I want to thank you all! I stole lines from your posts. I used ideas you all came up with. I knew a shitload of shaming was in route and I was more than ready by reading your posts and comments. Nothing I was dealt hadn’t been covered here many times. The only people surprised were them.
It started while I was getting soda. The most vocal wife approached me and felt the need to grace me with her opinion.
Her- when I heard you left my opinion of you went to nothing. She put in her time and you just left! I can’t believe you did that! You used to be a decent guy!
Me- hi! first, I’m not a 401k. You have no guarantee of return because you put in time. I’m also not a prison where the time was mandatory. As for your opinion. I’m good with it.
I walked away while she stood there stunned.
Within minutes the hive was buzzing. Their husbands avoiding. I was TOXIC. Over the next hour these encounters continued.
One older gal told me. “She’s a very independent woman, I can see why you left. You can’t handle an independent woman.” She had a proud smirk while she said it.
I told her. “I don’t have any desire to be with a woman that requires handling”
Her smirk disappeared into a squint. An awkward stare down ensued. I grinned and walked away.
Her husband sat by me later.(brave dude) she mentioned to him that she “doesn’t know what happened to him. he’s never been rude! But, he seems very confident!”
Then he asked. “What did happen to you? You’re different.”
Me- “I realized the life you have, and he has, and he has” as I pointed to other guys there. “Isn’t even close to what I want. I don’t want mom 2.0, I don’t want my future sold. I guess I realized what I want does matter and it’s not to late. You know dude, you always look miserable.”
Him- face palm.
Other snide remarks and shaming statements were made. All destroyed with ease. Soon nobody wanted to say shit. They had failed to embarrass me or make me feel uncomfortable. I was actually enjoying it. I was also now dead to them. The plantation was in flames.
I was able to toss some horseshoes and have a few laughs, however the stares of judgement from the hive continued. They weren’t happy THEIR boys were laughing with me.
Everyone there except for me were drinking. As the day progressed a very buzzed and very attractive friends girlfriend followed me into the house and blatantly hit on me!
One minute I’m an asshole, the next I’m a conquest. She didn’t seem upset when I brushed her off, instead gave me that evil grin only a cheating woman has. Her boyfriend is as blue pill as they come. I’m sure she’s been running around on him for a while.
I said my goodbye to the whole group at once and left. Nobody seemed upset. I don’t think I’ll ever see them again. I’m also not upset by that.
The remainder of my time was spent with my true friends. My bros. We had a great time and they made the trip worth it. I’ll see them again…

I had similar things happen to me in grad school. It was the men that would accuse me of being misogynist, and the women would immediately jump in—to defend me. They would argue with the other men for me, until the men, ashamed I suppose, and unwilling to fight with the women, would just shut up.
Women are followers, and they naturally seek to submit to superior men. That is all that hypergamy means. Women have never wanted equals. They have always insisted on men being superior to them. They are just too confused to understand it, but they can’t escape their biology.

This was great to read and the good thing about everything you said to them was like a preacher telling them the truth that they never want to hear. You planted a seed in those men and they know how miserable their lives are maybe they will do something about it. I know that is wishful thinking but who knows one day you might hear one of those guys getting a divorce and finally freeing themselves from the plantation.
