* clarifying 'make amends' - it's the bartering stage. "Maybe if I xyz then this didn't happen."

Out of 60 women, you'd think AT LEAST one or two would've reported it. Pretty suspicious either way.

As the women said, this happened ~ 30 yrs ago, before "date rape" was commonly used and they thought only stranger rape was a crime.

People being unaware of their rights and not asserting them fully against the rich and powerful is not "suspicious."
