I love history. It reminds me of how bf1 took history and skewed it. Hell it reminds me of how assassins creed couldn't just be a history game. People want historical games based on accuracy to events that actually or could have possibly happened but the devs keep thinking it needs embellishment

It's not like it's clear we are fighting the Wehrmacht or anything. They just have removed all nazi iconography from multiplayer. No flags or any swastikas

Okay, so I understand that this goes against making the game as historically accurate as possible, and I disagree with the decision, but really? You're going to not buy the game because there aren't swastikas in multiplayer? I doubt you were actually going to get it in the first place.

It's pretty weak, if it's because of the laws in Germany and they're doing it for that reason I get it, still pretty weak. Breaks immersion a little don't you think?

I don't get why it's fine to have it in campaign but multiplayer it's not. Also having Black Nazis and American women running around is strange. In the reveal they kept saying how they wanted to be as accurate as possible, but what they showed is so far from that

I really don't care about the lack of swastikas - its not like omission of a symbol is "historically inaccurate" - whatever.

What TRULY bothers me is that they are throwing all accuracy aside and including women in the fighting... I just saw a video of a black woman playing on the German side - wtf? My god I have nothing against women but this is a war that actually happened - black female soldiers were not fighting at D-Day. I have NO issue with women being in the fictionalized games, but not a game that covers real events.... come on.....

Exactly, thats why you never saw or heard anyone complain with black ops 3. It was fictional, so they could have had a purple alien with hoofs for hands running around with a frying pan and nobody would care. WWII has extremely detailed records of events and what the war was like, which pretty much everyone learned about and understands as history, which is what people want to see in a game that is literally called "Call of Duty WWII." Just totally random to put these various character options in. If they wanted to cater towards making everyone in every demographic happy, chosing a war from an era when those demographics werent happy or treated fairly and claiming historical accuracy as a selling point was just dumb.

Of course there has to be UAVs. People just need to know where everybody is on the map. I wish they would have removed the enemy on the radar like BF1, but I'm not surprised, since its "CoD". Other than that the game looks pretty good.

BF1, while shooting does not make you show up on the HUD, there is still spotting flares and being spotted by other teamates.

Yeah that's true, but those flares and spots don't last very long. In CoD, there is always somebody deploying a UAV every 3 seconds, so basically you're playing with enemy on the radar the whole game, unless you are playing S&D or something, where that doesn't happen. I just wish the number of kills for a UAV would be toned up to 7 or so, not 3, which almost certainly wont happen.

Or they should do it like it was in ghosts, where the UAV's only showed a very small portion of the map and it required having 3 up (they were also ground based and super easy to kill) in order to get a large portion of the map be seen

I'm seriously tired of this SJW shit. We all know the Nazis did very terrible stuff (every side of the war did, mind you), but when a game wants to accurately portray a historical event. Every part of the war should be recreated with integrity and respect, even the Nazis.

Seriously though, the German army was the coolest part of WW2. Their weaponry was unmatched for a long while, and their uniforms are badass.

As I said before and I'll say again, it's due to german laws. Other games like Wolfenstein or Southpark censored the symbol in the german version but kept it anywhere else. It's due to Activision Laziness here, not SJW.

Funny story : I was narrating all the E3 conference to a friend via SMS. Before I saw the end of the trailer I told him this was a new BF1 DLC and then at the end it shocked me how it was suppose to be COD WW2. I know there are differences between both of them but damn that was almost the same.
