So Greenwald & the Intercepters bang on about no evidence. Winner shows them, gets jail. Wonder how soon Greenwald washes his hands of this.

the Intercept's only statement on the leak basically denies any involvement and *again* questions whether the document is accurate.

They turned her in. She naively thought that greenwald of Wikileaks fame would protect her. Guess she didn't know there're Russian.

Don't know if they turned her in, but they could've gone a bit more out of their way to protect the source. Wonder who'll leak to them next.

How come no other "source" was ever leaked except one with damning trump info? I too don't know for sure, it just seems strange.

Also, ever consider there are no leaks at all that would be helpful to him? Says a lot don't you think?

Don't understand the hate toward the Intercept here. They're right that the "evidence" has all been supposition, and printed what she shared

All fair, not claiming their opinion isn't compelling, just saying due diligence requires reservation of judgement until one sees the facts

I got totally excoriated here for asking to be shown reading material, suggests that people are more keen to convict than to review evidence

The case for human caused climate change for example is backed up by reams of verifiable evidence. Not so in this case. Not a small point.

The level of confidence you have in the source matters too. If it was just 1 quack saying it, fine.. wait for evidence.

But if 17 intelligence agencies are saying, that's a much higher level of confidence.

Agreed, but all we have is an argument from authority until they show evidence. Disturbing to see people take that point as denial or worse.
