This is a screen from Crash 1, notice the character selector at the right.
Crash 1 did not feature Coco. She was introduced in 2.
There was also Trophy listings with a Trophy like this for each game
"Defeat 5 enemies with Coco's spin"
"Defeat 5 enemies with Coco's spin"
"I missed a box. I gotta go back."Originally Posted by steveovig
This Koko playable too?
Yeah it's kinda odd because Coco has never came off as being goofy as Crash due to the fact that she was suppose to be the smart one of the sibling. One thing that never quite sat right with me was how they gave Coco her own version of the Crash dance, which she does in the warp room alongside Crash. Just seemed a bit odd because of how faithful the game is to the originals otherwise. More evidence of playable Coco?
Did people really think they were going to surprise-include CTR (a substantial racing title in it's own right), alongside the already massive undertaking that rebuilding 3 full psx titles was?Originally Posted by BluenoseGames
So yeah this is going to be the E3 surprise. The CTR dream is dead :(
I like that Coco can interact with Crash in his idle animation shenanigans, which is fun to watch. It's a cute touch.Yeah it's kinda odd because Coco has never came off as being goofy as Crash due to the fact that she was suppose to be the smart one of the sibling.

"You don't need all the boxes, George. You can just run to the end."
"That's not how it works! If there's a box, I get it. That's how it goes."
"Is that how it goes?"
*Kramer enters through doorway*
"Oh, absolutely." *Steals Jerry's food*
*George misses another box*
"THAT'S IT! I QUIT!"
IIRC, he gets ditched for Pinstripe.Originally Posted by Blues1990

I do wonder what will happen with Crash's girlfriend, as she was regulated to photos in the games following the events of the original. Maybe she ditches Crash?
i think according to the deep Crash lore she leaves crash for the mobster bad guy. So yeah, after Crash went through all that trouble she NTRs him.Originally Posted by Blues1990

Yeah, it's absolutely amazing what they've done with this.Originally Posted by PeakPointMatrix
I don't even know what to say at this point. VV has gone above and beyond in any conceivable way. I'm even more curious what those little offshoot paths on the island are. If they're also including some co-op or some type of ghost race mode, I will die.
I truly hope this game sells gangbusters to reward their dedicated efforts. By the looks of the Amazon allocation totally selling out, things look hopeful.
Maybe the extra levels (if they indeed exist) are a test for VV to see how well they can create levels that feel right for Crash so they can make their own sequel. They even hinted at extra stages so if true this would be one of the best remastered games ever along with the Zelda 3DS ones.
You could count this kinda as a remake it's not just a upscale.
VV already has plenty of experience making Crash games. The Game Director for N. Sane, Dan Tanguay, has been the creative lead of most of them, as well. He knows his stuff.Originally Posted by Shift Breaker

I mean, we're at baseless speculation levels now, but that's part of the spirit of E3.
Screw it, Spyro Remake demo is in included in Warped, that's another surprise.
If I had to guess, that would be Coco's path to meeting up with her brother after the mutation. A "lore friendly" reason for her to be the co-protagonist. I'd love for them to give her cutscenes as well, but I doubt it.So are we not going to pint out how there's an extra level on the map that wasn't in the original? There's an extra path branching off from Papu Papu leading to a beach which has Coco's laptop.
