I've had similar thoughts and have come to the conclusion that predicting the future is the same as willing it. Having a dream is just a dream, but due to the law of attraction we see what we think about, especially if you have a dream, and 'expect' it to happen in RL. Whatever you believe will happen does.

When I was a young girl my sister had a horrible dream woke up screaming and crying saying we all died in a car crash on our way out of town. It just so happened that we had a trip planned that day but didn't know beforehand. My mother gets worried and my sister is freaking out and refusing to go. Idk how long this goes on but it's pretty long. Later my mother says, there's no way that can happen today, you have thrown off our schedule and now that we are late, it can't happen. I even remember my mother saying to 'look out for any accidents on the road' as we entered the freeway. Just as we are arriving to the next town there is a huge accident and the scene is horrible - I'll leave out the details but it was the worst car accident I've seen in my life. We drove by really slowly and saw all the details, even though mother told us not to look.

After that anytime we would have bad dreams mother would pray to block it and we'd never see anything about it. Just thought I'd share this if it can help.

Predicting the future is absolutely not the same as willing it.

You can predict the future.

You can will something and it might happen.

But they are 100% not the same and it's very very dangerous to confuse the two. Let's not throw very useful people who can see beyond time on the burning stakes again please because they 'willed' that disaster.

Really, it's very very important to not make that mistake.

I'm giving my understanding and to me they are exactly the same. I am not pulling this out of the air, this is from decades of personal experience. To feel that you cannot change any outcome of any event and just let it happen is not a belief system that I subscribe to. I've seen things before they happen all my life. I couldn't have been so accurate unless I was the one doing it.

Now when I get a bad feeling or premonition i block it and it never happens. I am sharing my experience to help other out of these belief systems that do not serve them.

That's a good reason for sharing, but I too have experience of both and can do both, and while some people can do both it's still really not a good idea to say that someone who cannot do both and only sees stuff wills that to happen.

Notice you're changing it: It's very different to see something and that then automatically being identical as willing it (what you seem to say in the first post), than being able to will it happening differently (what you seem to say in the second post).

There are a lot of different people, really, it may surprise you that although it can surprise you how alike people are, people are also very very different.

Some people might just be beginning, or be a child, or haven't thought about trying to will something differently, or even understand how etc.

And this statement, which really is not true, can really do a lot of harm if it's taken literally and yes, I do think witch hunts should never happen again.

Maybe PM me to discuss this further, as I think it's interesting what you say, we both have experiences and I would like to talk further.

It's still the same to me - allowing it/willing it/changing it/blocking it are all conscious thoughts brought forth into reality. What you actively think about you create. Knowing this forces one to be responsible for ones thoughts because thoughts really do create the reality around you.

I think this about sums it all up (for me anyway). :) Peace and love my brothers n sisters :) <3

Seeing is not allowing it.

Seeing is not willing it.

Seeing is not changing it.

Seeing is not blocking it.

Seeing is not actively thinking about it.

And then you have Hew Len's Hoʻoponopono which is also nice, but that still is only valid for his realm, not for everyone. But do look that up it's exactly up your perspective.

Peace.

Hew Len's Hoʻoponopono

Thanks, I read a top comment. I've listened to a bit and agree so far. Bless you :) I now make wishes for my brothers and sisters to live in peace and happiness. :) PS I've never looked into these sorts of things, I've come to these conclusions via process of illumination. <3

Are there any ME precognition events or effects that are somewhat commonly known? The only one I can think of is Blue beard's accounts but I have serious doubts about his legitimacy. just curious.

"Maybe it has all happened already" ... YES!!

I've started to imagine time as a non-linear experience, so the past, present and future are all running simultaneously. Under certain circumstances I'm personally more intune with this overlap. I've had precognition/perception since an early age and I've come to consider it matter of fact as I've aged. My uncanny ability to predict situations has raised a few eyebrows so I tend to keep it more low-key thesedays. I've lost count how many times people have told me I have quick reflexes, I honestly don't believe that it's quick hand/eye co-ordination, I just feel something a split-second ahead of time - that's the best I can explain it, running from my subconscious no doubt. However like other posters have said how can one predict something that has not yet occured unless it already has. Holding this hypothesis, once unlocked perhaps one could change the past, present or future. A scary example of this was the other day, I was eating a meal out with friends and their kids, all of a sudden I had a critical feeling/urge to look at the kid that was sat next to me. He had his fork upright in his hand in front of his face and he was balancing oddly on his chair - rest assured that fork was out of his hand faster than a bullet. In one moment of time I shudder to think how that could have ended.

Technically speaking, we do live in the past because it takes your brain time to process images, sounds, and feelings. I mean, it's like milliseconds or some shit, but yeh.

You've never, in your life, experienced the "present".

Sometimes I think we are all repeating the same live over and over again , never ending wheel.... That would explain a lot of things including deja-vus ...

Can you guys believe such a thing ? I mean you think about a fight you had with one person Is it to weird to think youy've been repeating that same fight, the same things the way it happened for god only knows how many time.... Sometimes I think about this It's the only reason I can find to justify the pain I feel when things work out wrong in my life....it really hurts a lot...

Agree or maybe we are time travelers . I know the future by use of philosophy and extreme logic but to others it would appear to be magic I guess.
