/r/BeingPOZ was nearly destroyed when an alt-right user took over and nuked the sub by banning all users and removing all previously posted content. One mod returned to duty and started to undo the devastation. (self.SubredditDrama)

Logging on earlier today, this post from /r/gaybros pops up on my front page.

In it I is information stating that /r/BeingPOZ (a support thread for HIV positive people, including recent diagnoses) was hijacked by a user called TrayvonDindu. It was also stated that he banned all other users, erased all previous content, and made three salty and hostile self-posts, with titles and but a few words of text. Out of curiosity, I look up the sub and see the suspicions confirmed...

Also of note, when I linked his takeover here initially, he was none too happy and responded swiftly with a ban for me and threats of further bans should anyone else comment on my original post. That post was removed for insufficient context, hence my write-up here.

UPDATE: Another user and mod by the name of YourFairyGodmother has since started to reclaim the sub, undoing the damage. And he has also lifted the bans thrown in by TrayvonDindu.

It's understandable even for a redditor. Outside of altright-ish subs, it's pretty much obscure especially given that most people don't even read comments or just go through the top few. It's somewhat close to the point where some retard on /pol/ would go 'The normies are trying to learn our language!!!!'. that's what I mean - maybe TrayvonDindu created a fake account, astroturfed the fake account with stuff that would make it seem like he's a good person to have in the sub, got made a mod on his fake account, then used the fake account to mod his real account (TrayvonDindu).

'dindu' is supposed to be a mockery of black people saying "i didnt do it" when arrested for something, but heavily exaggerated to mock the way some groups of black people pronounce words. Thankfully its died down these days, at least mainstream wise.
