Tbh not really poor, I think we're usually one of the highest average income localities in the country. We can deal with you common folk wandering in on occasion, just please turn down the music by 9.

except it's pretty obvious that it is just to bypass the playstations mod restrictions, you can still get mods on pc from anywhere you can still get mods on xbox from bethesda.net all for FREE this is what they had to do to get good mods onto playstation

they aren't paid mods per say, but you need to buy credits on XBL, PSN, or Steam, or Bethesda net to get the add-ons (*cough mods *cough) the devs of the mods/add-ons get paid and they MUST be original content

i understand that, but a paywall is still a paywall. we are paying for the equivalent of horse armor in many cases.

when bethesda tried this on steam, a weapon on skyrim for steam that was stolen from nexusmods cost $3-5. meanwhile a whole expansion with new weapons armor and missions cost $15. there's a huge disparity of value there that original content won't solve.

think of projects like Skywind, Skyblivion, Skyrim Bruma, and FO3 in FO4. those are things i would pay for.

but... but these mods aren't stolen from anything, they are created by mod authors and the studio themselves to only be available on Creation Club, are moderated, curated, and authors are paid for creating them. This is no where near the same system as what they wanted to do before.

Some random town? I know you probably weren't trying to be insulting, but for the visitors, take a look at the Wikipedia page for Bethesda, MD. You would be hard pressed to find many non-major cities in the world with more notable people/companies/government offices.

Oh, and it's where Bethesda Softworks is based (well, technically next door Rockville now) and the "Bethesda Ruins" were in FO3.

Also I doubt the paid mods will be a big deal, because they said the paid mods will be compatible with your saves, so that means the mods won't be able to be very big or complex most likely

I wish they'd just make donating to a modder easier on bethesda.net make it to where every modder has a profile that you could go to see all there mods and links to patreon,paypal, and kickstarter. Maybe even a feature to sub to creator and pay X amount every month. I think that's a lot better then paid mods
