In 1989, then President George H.W. Bush issued an executive order halting the importation of some semi-automatic firearms after a mass school shooting Stockton, California. Why not revoke this. Modify Sporting purpose clause of the GCA of 1968 include self defense, collecting, and action shooting. In 1998, then President Bill Clinton also issued an executive order to ban the importation of more than 50 semiautomatic “assault weapons” Why not revoke this, In 2001, Clinton moved again via executive order, banning the importation of assault pistols. revoke this Removing the U.S. from the Anti-Gun UN Arms Trade Treaty Remove trade ban of ammo and firearms from china. |

Because:
A) He's got his hands full trying to MAGA while fighting the Marxist Left, MSM, Globalists and RINOs B) I haven't seen a big push asking him to do anything specifically aside from protect our 2nd Amendment rights. There's a petition on the WH website that's only gotten a fraction of the votes it needs to get reviewed. We have to take some responsibility here. If there's something specific that we want we have to organize, rally and get politically active. Get your representatives to bring it up in Congress or bring it to the president's attention. The President isn't a wizard or Santa Clause. There's a process for these things and we have to do our part. Wishing that he would do something about a thing he's probably not even aware of probably won't turn out well. |
