It is still a day after hearing about this and I'm still upset.

I don't see how a competition that makes sure queens are well rounded by providing them with a multitude of challenges with different skill sets needs... we even joke every season "It's the current season, why would you come here not knowing how to sew?" ...ends with a lipsync.

So what? We're just supposed to ignore the fact that some queens showed their talents more and just make them lip sync for the crown? How is that anything like RPDR has ever been?

Why challenge the queens to show their acting / singing / dancing / sewing / comedic prowess? If in the end all that matters is if you can lip sync to a song and have more gimmicks than the other queen?

And while I'm on the subject, a gimmick in a lip sync is great, but is that all this will end up being? Get to the final lip sync and do some never before seen gimmick to win the crown? Does this mean queens who can death drop and braid a wig at the same time are the new meta for RPDR winners? Where does that leave queens who may not have the body / age to do stunts? Should they even BOTHER trying out for the show in the future?

Peppermint getting 4th place was fine with me...I didn't agree she deserved that placement, but I was okay with it.

But I can't help but feel that this has something to do with Peppermint's documentary that was just announced or Ru being so political she wants to crown the exact opposite of what the Trump regime stands for - a trans woman of color or an sjw.

I'll be upset if Peppermint / Sasha win...but that's fine. I wasn't a fan of Violet when she won and I'm still watching. But if this ends up being the new thing they do, I can't predict I'll keep watching forever. (Especially if it keeps being a best-friend race)
