Reddit is a website literally founded on the principle of people sharing shit they find interesting on the Internet. Nowhere, anywhere, ever, has there have been some unwritten rule that you can only post stuff you make. If that was the case then 99% of the Reddit wouldn't exist. He just shared something he found and enjoyed. I highly doubt he even made the gif from the video, he probably just found it somewhere online.

BF4 was pretty bad about hitboxes and collision detection. Have you seen someone ride a dirtbike in that game? It's like watching a plastic man ride a magic jetski across the battlefield.

Actually, any fast land vehicle in general looked and handled like shit. It makes it all the more confusing that they made Hardline, which is almost entirely about fast land vehicles.

The M2 Slams are on the front of the log. The log is merely a tool to launch them at the helicopter.

But engineers can't have C4, right? Only support and recon have access to it.

Only way he could do it would be killing someone using a loadout that had C4 and he placed the slams there beforehand, but I don't know if the slams would disappear after he changed loadouts.

If you look through the comments a bit, lots of people already mentioned he had m2 slams on the front of the log. Prox to chopper killed it not the log itself...would've been nicer if they had included that in the gif to clarify that beforehand

I was super impressed that the game actually credits the guy a kill, despite the fact that it was a terrain entity that did the killing. THEN I noticed the pistol in the first second of the gif...he shot the heli first, else he wouldn't have gotten credit.

It wasn't the log that killed the chopper, it was the M2 Slam (Proximity Mine) attached to the other end of the log that caused the explosion and kill.

This has always been a weird gif to me. I find it odd that launching a log (creating an environmental hazard) into a helicopter credits the kill to the one who blasted it. Either something's fishy, or those Devs had a lot of foresight, or I'm just over thinking this.
