When a community is supposed to be there to help those with problems such as depression the most important thing is that the person who is trying to get help has their posts be seen by the community correct? Well 5 months ago i made a post about suicide that accidentally incited debate and when the mods removed it I was fine. Now fast forward to today I'm trying to ask for help when it comes to self-isolation and worsening depression from my girlfriend cheating on me I notice no one is seeing my posts. I ask the mods and one of them informs me that my posts are being restricted because of that aforementioned post. They said I was inciting victim blaming(which the mods at the time did not accuse me of doing), and because of that my posts are going to go through their approval. I asked them how it was victim blaming and basically because I did not bow at this certain mod's feet he/she refused to approve my posts. The mod made up some excuse about the post being a question when there are tons of questions left up in /r/depression. This seems to me to not only be a violation of transparency but also an abuse of power in a community where ethics in modding are important.
