I know man. These noble knights of civil rights have a habit of doing this.

Example, r/rape will ban you if you post on r/kotakuinaction.

They must ban you for posting in other subs, too. Because I clicked the link and I'm banned there but I don't post in KIA.

I've noticed communities like that rarely do much good. The majority of people there, by nature of the subreddit, are depressed themselves; there's very little positivity, and that's the last thing these guys need. That's why I don't bother with that place any more. The mods themselves don't seem to understand that.

Also, hope you're doing okay my dude.

Thanks, and yeah the mods are so on edge all the time they end up hurting people that need help.

I had the same issue with /ptsd. It's a shame really.

Saw multiple posts about suicide that were poorly moderated. Trolls would be around long enough to get downvoted into oblivion. When I inquired about some way to help the people in need, I got a nastygram about how they already have a sticky devoted to self-help, and they don't have the time/desire/what-have-you to moderate every suicide post.

With mine I just was asking about why we should 'respect' suicide itself. As a person with suicidal tendencies I think we should respect and understand those with those problems but i was just wandering why people respect the act itself. So because of that the mods accused me of victim blaming even though i made it clear in my post that I was just wondering why people treated it like that. I was fine with them deleting my post cause it caused debate, but them restricting every post i made from then on is what i have a problem with. Especially that when I argued with the mod they refused to approve my other posts that were not against the rules at all.
