Gene Ireland Progeny – Kyle Herd Ivan (ZKY)
The first calves from the 2016 Gene Ireland beef bulls are currently being born on farms. Here is one of Kyle Herd Ivan (ZKY) progeny. Pictured below is a heifer sired by ZKY born last Autumn.

Tully – Now Performance Testing Heifers
There are currently sixty AI sired heifers on test at the Tully test centre. These are the first heifers to ever enter the Tully Gene Ireland test centre and they are from a range of 32 AI sires representing 7 breeds.

Update from Tully Test Centre
The first young bulls of 2017 were slaughtered over the last 10 days at Slaney Foods International, Bunclody, Co. Wexford. The progeny were sired by 41 different AI sires across 8 different breeds. It consisted of eighty-two Jan/Feb/March 2016 born bulls.
