No surprise that the guy who made the comment posts to /r/imgoingtohellforthis, AKA "Not even thinly veiled racism/sexism/homophobia."

People who allow racism are the same as the racists themselves.

The only thing you can be judged on is your behavior, your actions, not your words or what you say you are or aren't. If your actions/behavior supports racism then you are a racist. No matter how much they claim to not be racist, they will only be judged by their actions. This moderator is a racist and a racism supporter.

I'm sure it will feel harsh for them to see that, but they have firmly taken a stand on the side of racism, and are only being judged by their own decisions and actions. You choose what you are.

Exactly. I don't know how she can post in pseudo socialist subs and be ok with this, but white people never cease to amaze us.

What is it with these people and this "free speech" bullshit. Reddit is not a public/government-owned forum. Mods that allow this on principle have some seriously fucked up principles.

Someone needs to go see how many times you can talk about white people's food being flavorless in there before you get banned.

Lol "free speech"

You'll do yourself well to confront the reality that these people have NO sense of morality whatsoever. It's literally the only thing that affords me comfort, when confronted with the illogicality of white racism and white justifications for racism. And whatever you do, DON'T argue with it. They will stretch logic as far as humanly possible in order to justify some of the most unjustifiable shit imaginable.

It might just be human nature.

It might not be though, it might be a cultural thing. Honestly, I see it with a lot of Americans.

What "free speech" really means.

One finding suggests many who defend racist speech using the “free speech argument” might not extend the same principle of free speech to negative comments aimed at authority figures or the public in general. “You might think that, ‘Maybe people who defend this racist speech are just big fans of free speech, that they’re principled supporters of freedom,’” Crandall said. “Well, no. We give them a ‘news’ article with the same speech aimed at police — and prejudice scores are completely uncorrelated with defending speech aimed at police — and also uncorrelated with snarky speech aimed at customers at a coffee shop, but with no racial content.” ..... “They weren’t defending their own attitudes, as much as ‘defending to the death their right to say it,’” Crandall said. “Just so long as the ‘it’ is the prejudiced speech they share.”

Welcome to white people. (Not all white people™).

Well, unless they prove otherwise.

Actions speak louder than words. That's just enabling racism, free speech? bull fucking shit.

IB4: "Topic: I know ~other subs~ are sometimes toxic and combatitive but OUR community is really so pure and enlightened...great accomodating and considerate and its nice to post in THIS subreddit and relax *squelching sounds to the left and right"

comment +10 pts: "Actually I'm not a racist/sexist/Bogdemon buuuuut and I'm a legitimate user of the sub, those aren't bad people if you've seen them in the comments"

>_> ow, ow my eye muscles.

/u/75000_tokkul I know it's not a hate sub, but I thought you'd like this anyway

The cooking sub, while generally useful, also has it's moments.

Lol, another idiot who doesn't know how free speech works.

Right? I think that white people are the only group that see blatant racism and see it as an opinon somehow. SMH.

Lmao, preach. Those fools do it 24/7 around here. "Well you're just mad they have a different opinion than you do!" Yes, when that opinion is that genocide is okay, I'm going to have a problem with that.

I have been obsessed with How to Cake it on YouTube for months now. The baker, Yolanda Gampp, started the Replicake contest where viewers try to recreate cakes she makes in her weekly videos. The irony is her mom is black. I believe Yolanda is Bahamian and German. The producer, Jocelyn has a similar ethnic heritage.

It has for now, and I got mad and yelled at him

This is one of the many reasons for why I despise the white race. They're the only group that refuses to progress in anything.

Do you think that's distinct to Americans? Or globally?

I want to say mostly Americans because I live here and I hear about their bullshit on a daily basis, but it's a global issue with them. Everywhere they go and everything they touch they destroy.
