Would you like / would it be possible for United to go for Morata this summer? (self.reddevils)

He is not a starter for Real at the minute and has a great finishing record. I imagine he would like to get regular game time and with our dire finishing this season we could do with a player like Morata to put the ball in the back of the net after all the chances we have created.

Do you think he would be a viable target or would he rather stay in Madrid?

Nope. I don't like his attitude and I think there are better forwards to go for at around the price it would cost for him. I do see him leaving this summer tho.

And don't bother replying to me with him scoring a bunch of goals for the Harlem Globetrotters vs a bunch of teams who'd struggle to get even one of their players in Real's 25 man squad nevermind actually on the pitch for them.

At Juventus in actual competitive games (and even then way less competitive than we face every week) his scoring record was atrocious just as it is for Real vs decent sides.

9 of his 15 league goals this season have come vs the bottom 5 in La Liga. He scores near exclusively vs utter shite who have no chance whatsoever vs Real and just get completely pumped from minute one. If United were playing in the Championship next season that kind of scoring record might be relevant.

He has 2 goals in 9 games vs the Spanish Top 6 (and none of those games were vs Barca as he didn't get on the pitch vs them) we're talking Villarreal, Sevilla, Atletico and Bilbao here.

He would be a disaster up front for us in actual competitive games. The absolute last thing we need right now is a striker who doesn't know where the net is. He's exactly like Welbeck, all the tools in theory but completely lacking the most important aspect of being striker the instinct of just knowing where the net is.

With the kind of premium we have to pay for any player let alone a striker i would rather go for someone truly worth it..if you ask me who that is , i will say there are far too many better ones around for us to go after him. I hope we sign as well as we did this season.

Ronaldo scores more without Benzema playing than with, which makes me believe Benzema might be out soon leaving space for Morata.

Any team would take a player like Morata, however I can't see him leaving Real for the time being - at least this summer.

It was Jose Mourinho who brought Morata to 1st team from the Academy, while Mourinho was managing Real Madrid. That said, Mourinho thinks he's good enough.

I'd say it's possible he can move to MU but not likely, reason because Morata seems to want to stay at Real Madrid, and if he can't play, then go to Juventus

Oh, I forgot something something Mourinho NEVER gives Youth players chances to play in the 1st team LOL.
