Mautinoa looks really interesting: imagine if GiveDirectly’s room for more funding was defined as “Africa, half of Asia, substantial parts of South America, and bits of Eastern Europe”, in around that order. They’re trying to take the M-Pesa model used in Kenya and Tanzania and expand it worldwide, specifically for use with aid dollars. They’re hiring Android and Go developers, and their CTO is Meredith Patterson, a really cool techie whose name has floated around here before.
