Do facts matter anymore? For many it seems the truth is like Ben Carson's explanation of poverty - a "state of mind".

I've had many convo's with Trumpers and they don't seem to believe anything other than what he says and Fox news and Hannity! Sad

How 2 bring them around when their reality is fundamentally different? They're as upset w/us 4 not seeing the "truth" as we are w/them.

And it depends on who you believe. The only difference is our newspapers are old and established and award winning. Theirs not so much!

Objective truth is a thing that transcends belief, though. You can have your own beliefs and opinions, but not your own facts.

So how do you tell them that what they believe to be facts are wrong? That is the problem. I can show them articles they say fake news.

I concur, and don't have a solution. I also fully acknowledge that even attempting such dialogue is exhausting and usually unrewarding.

I wonder if it's the former Attorney General and head of the FBI testifying under oath or the guy who said three million "illegals" voted?

Obama was good. Not amazing. He still sent over 26k drone strikes in 2016 to a handful of countries. One of the primary causes of terrorism

Is the perception of foreign occupation. Obama didn't exactly help by continuing and increasing the amount of bombs being dropped

Although Obamacare was definitely an amazing step into the right direction, especially with the hand he was felt

The man wrote a book on how to play on people's emotions for personal gain. He faked construction to close a deal with Holiday Inn.

And has a daughter who wrote a book about defrauding her childhood "friends" with fake arrowheads and taking their money. He's a gem.

If he is a gem, he should have been left in the ground.
