Prompt: Helpful elves broke in at night to aid the fruit cobbler.
“Come, friend, we will help you escape,” they said.
The cobbler did not react.
“If you stay you will be eaten! It has happened before!”
Nothing.
“You are a braver soul than any of us,” the elves said gravely. “Good luck changing the system from inside.”
The cobbler was delicious.
