Chinese state media People.cn (The People’s Daily), run by the government of China and considered their official mouthpiece, picked up the story of the Canadian woman yelling “GO BACK TO CHINA” in a Chinese supermarket.
Canada’s state media, CBC, however, didn’t cover it at all.
We took screenshots and archived the pages, see for yourself.
CBC did find time to defend Toronto police kicking the homeless out from under a bridge, and even phrased it like they were doing them a favor!
Remember folks, just like BBC, CBC will (almost always) side with the establishment.
It is kind of weird though, usually CBC loves stories about racism. Why didn’t they cover this one?
