This post has nothing to do with the phrase women use in regards to dating.
Over the years, I've noticed the traditional image of what it means to be a man has change from someone with a plan, goals, upholding an ideal that he's someone worthy of respect or can lead others, to that of an individual on social media who craves more attention than women.
This crosses all racial lines too. More and more guys in their late teens to late 20s have gone tbe route of concluding: any attention is the new currency.
Regardless of if it is based on his accomplishments (0% likelihood), to being a buffoon just for recognition (100% likelihood), too many fellas have resorted to being the new attention whores.
Sickening. I understand going your own way like a lone wolf, but to behave in this ignorant manner shows no direction or guidance growing up. No plan, no support system, and no long-term outlook.
Don't let this be you.
What's the cause? Singe parent households? Lack of father figures to emulate? Not being taught that adult males shouldn't act like petchulant children who crave attention?
