Two posts have been massively popular this week:
1922: Follow This Rule — If You Want To Be Popular
1922: Why I Quit Being So Accommodating
I decided to run both through the dotEPUB Firefox Add-on and turn them into ePub eBooks for people to download via Google Docs.
The first essay includes the original images.
The second one lacks the images due to dotEPUB having an image limit.

When the Google Docs screen appears, click on File and then Download to grab each one.
I’d be interested to hear from people who view them on tablets. I won’t be doing additional work on these eBooks. This is just an experiment. People who balked at reading them online might want to try them via these eBooks now.
Thanks very much, both worked fine for me on an ipad. Appreciate your effort.
Ditto for me…opens perfect in iBooks on ipad 3
Thank you!
Would not open on my laptop. Doesn’t recognize epub.
You don’t have any ePub program. You can get Adobe Digital Editions or FBReader to open it.
Downloaded just fine on my iPad despite Google Docs coming up in German when I opened it in WP reader. I had to open with Safari to get the download to iBooks to work. Is it normal that it says all the images were removed?
Yes. dotePub has a limit on the number of images and one of the posts doesn’t have the images in it.
My samsung tablet has no problem downloading and reading either. I have a free reader called aldiko installed.
