Why #Covfefe ought to scare the shit out of you

Trump’s middle-of-the-night Covfefe tweet, which he left up for the world to experience for a full six hours, ought to scare the shit out of you. “Covfefe is not merely an innocuous typo for “coverage;” it is absolute proof of several scenarios that are each, on their own, sufficient to remove him from office.

Here is his tweet:

Here are the frightening facts:

1. Trump is awake too late, too often, to be an effective president during business hours.

2. He had unfettered access to direct communications with the world during a brain-dead 6 hours.

3. He was not in his right mind because if he had been, he would have deleted it before he went back to sleep.

4. Millions of people believed he was having a psychotic episode.

5. No one on his staff interfered with this frightening event.

6. He could have posted nuclear codes and there was no one there to prevent it.

7. He doesn’t care if he frightens the entire world.

8. He can do and say absolutely anything at this point with no consequences and he knows it. He made a joke about it when he woke up.

9. The magnitude of the effect of his seemingly innocuous mishap/typo only reinforces his dangerous megalomania.

10. World leaders know he is crazy, the GOP is silent about it and he’s going to get worse, more crazy, more dangerous if he is allowed to.

Here are the frightening hypotheses:

1. Trump isn’t sleeping enough and sleep deprivation, for whatever reason, affects cognitive ability.

2. He takes medication/drugs that affect his cognitive ability.

3. He was on the toilet, dropped his phone in the toilet and didn’t care what he communicated to the world and went back to bed.

4. He was completely out of it last night when he was alone with a phone and is potentially out of control during several hours every single night.

5. He had a transient ischemic attack (TIA), a mini-stroke, while he was tweeting and then was unconscious for an undetermined amount of time and no one on his staff came to his aid.

6. No one at the White House was in control of a potentially serious situation.

7. There might be no disaster readiness program in place in case Trump has a psychotic episode that puts the world in danger.

8. He is suffering from narrowed arteries that bring oxygen to his brain and is in no condition to be president.

9. He either has dementia and/or is psychotic and is unfit to be president.

10. No one in the Republican party will do what is necessary to make America safe from this psycho.

This is what must be done pronto:

Congress must demand a public, psychiatric evaluation by an independent panel of healthcare professionals and an MRI with a public diagnosis by an independent panel of neurologists so we can find out what is wrong with his brain and get him as far away from the nuclear codes as possible before he kills us all.
