Blue light does cause your retinas to send signals to tell your brain to keep you awake. A good idea is to wind down before going to bed, for example reading a book (a physical one, of course). Try cleaning out your bedroom and getting sleep in a comfortable environment. Nothing puts you in a bad mood than waking up feeling sleep-deprived.
