I've not watched enough of him to comment on his playing ability, but from what I know diawara is a dm, and I see us going for different dms this window. I feel like we'd sign someone like fabinho or dier ahead of him, I might be wrong though but I can't really see this one happening. What do you think though? I'd be interested to hear the opinion of someone whos seen him play a decent amount.

Could be an interesting signing, he fits a position we need and from the little I've seen of him he seems quality. I'd much rather him than lindelof

I'll get the most obvious one out of the way: Antoine Griezmann

Griezmann to me would be an unreal signing, he's shown just how good he is for france and at atletico, and if he joined united he could challenge hazard for the title of best player in the prem. I think this transfer is quite likely to happen, and I'm sure we all have heard the reasons why. The only issue with this transfer is where he fits into the team. Griezmann plays best when he's the second striker playing off of another, as we saw when France moved to him and giroud at the euros. I can't see Jose playing a two striker formation however, so I do wonder how he could fit. I think him playing the attacking mid in a 4-2-3-1 could work. The other issue with that is who we bring in to pair with him. We could stick with rashford or play tony up front, but I can't really see that happening. So the alternative is to bring someone in..

If we stick with 433 I could see Griezmann playing ST. His best position is probably support striker but with Rashford and Martial at LF we pretty much play a two striker system.

That makes sense actually, and a 3 man midfield gets the best out of pogba. It'll be interesting to see if he does come how Jose will fit him in.

So griezmann as a winger? I've seen this a lot and it just seems stupid to me, what's the point in spending a huge amount on a world class player and then not playing him?

We should play him how he's played at Atleti. Secondary striker, just behind the CF and in front of the midfield.

I really doubt this one is going to happen. First of all he doesn't really fit our midfield as he plays basically the same role as pogba, and second of he just doesn't seem good enough to me. From what I've watched of Monaco bakayoko seems like one of their weakest players, and the only reason he has success is because he fits their system perfectly. In big games in the cl bakayoko has seemed like the worst of Monacos players, especially in the juve match. If we were to sign a Monaco player I'd rather us go for fabinho or a full back.

Seems like a quality player but I can't see this one happening. We already have rashford and martial, so we don't need another young striker.

I think this would be a worthwhile punt, he looks a class apart to anyone else in the Celtic team (inferior league I realise)

We should go in for him now before Everton buy him to replace Lukaku and he ends up costing £70/80 million in a few years time.

I don't think there is a better alternative out there for the same money, you'd be paying a hell of a lot more for someone from a "big" league

Additional: with regards to fitting in to the team, he'd be a striker obviously but I think he'd be rotated in his first year so he gets accustomed to the league.

Likelihood of it happening: low, United wouldn't take a chance on a player like that to lead the line

I would love to see this signing. Icardi is a quality striker, and I don't think we could do much better. He'd fit our system perfectly and if we had griezmann playing off him it'd be a deadly strike force. Only issue Is he seems really loyal to inter, and luring him away from them would be difficult.
