Gamergate and all wasn't some entity about gamers (who ironically are quite Libertarian in values mind you, so much so they're not your conservative!), it was a movement of control freaks who hate women that ballooned online around 2011. People like that dude and people like Mark Kern in the game dev industry came to the forefront as it's propaganda wing Add that venture capital and Goldman Sachs was funding the WoW gold seller Bannon ... it's a hot mess of people who should take medication for their illnesses (and with Goldman Sachs, refund the monies it got in the government bailout for funding the Bannons who were gold sellers).

They couldn't be so much on a power trip if they didn't have power and money to do that crap. We'll learn there are other politicians involved scattered across social media propagandizing hate, too. Hate has to have power and money to be loud, after all.
