[OPINION]How would Pereira fit into Mourinho's system when he returns for next season? (self.reddevils)

With Andreas returning to United having had a positive outing for Granada in their disappointing season, there are less chances that Mourinho would sell him in next season. We'll have big names like Mkhi and Mata with Lingard waiting on the wings for the same position. There are chances that he could be used as a wide player just like Mourinho used Rashford and Martial this season. But from his performances were glittering when he played through the center for the Spanish club. So how do you think he'll play a role for the club in the coming season? Do we sell any of our attackers or Mourinho will stick with all players to play a dynamic system?

I'm not considering Januzaj since he's almost certain to leave the club after a disappointing campaign for Sunderland, may be on loan.

I seriously doubt he will be anywhere near our squad next season, he did a solid job at Granada but he didn't blow anyone away.

I think he's as good as Lingard, so he should definitely be able to make the bench

He's better than Lingard it just remains to be seen whether he can do the defensive stuff too. But in terms of an actual attacking player he's above him in every sense

He's better than Lingard at everything apart from work rate. & honestly watching Lingard recently he hasn't even been working that hard.

No reason he couldn't play in a 3 man midfield with pogba, Herrera, fellaini. Question is if he'd improve on one of those 3 or whoever else we might bring in. That unit definitely needs attention cos it's pathetic without pogba.

He has played in the center and out wide for Granada, he could go ok as the creative midfield player in a 3 when Pogba's out and also can play CAM if we are playing just 2 central mids.

And as stated, out wide if needed, i'm hoping he will rack up 10+ games for us next season but it could really depend on signings.

I think his next step is a loan move to a newly promoted premier league club. Being at a club like Brighton or Reading would do him a world of good.

Honestly I dont see where he fits in. He's a very silky player but not much of a marathon runner. I know a lot of people won't like this but I can see him being sat on the bench for 2 years & then likely sold. Mourinho could surprise me though, Angel Gomes is one of the most technical, least physical players we have & (could be) our youngest ever debutante yet he'll supposedly feature against palace, so you never know. Hope he makes it here.
