No, it is against the TOS Section 2.6 if I recall correctly
It may not be against the TOS but it will be completely useless as the hash power supplied by the vCore is just ridiculous compared to what you can get from a mid-level GPU card.

It will use 100% of your VPS resources and it's more expensive than running it yourself on your home computer.
Ah, sorry, it was 2.17 on the old terms, but it is 12.1 on the new ones...

"...violation of any of these Terms of Service or any law, or if you misuse system resources, such as, by employing programs that consume excessive network capacity, CPU cycles, or disk IO."
I think that "excessive" should be defined with numbers....

If I rent a server with 4 cores, I should be able to use 24/7 the 100% of their capacity. Otherwise, the limits should be stated with numbers in the pricing chart.
agreed.
then you have to get into how is defining this?
what what is excessive?
I agree with this, and for this reason I am shutting down both my droplets and moving on to a different hosted service. Thanks.

Can I install a litecoin version to make my own coin via my droplet into digital Ocean and mne the hash genesis there or is this prohibited? Thanks
