HTC U11 leaks on video, confirms Edge Sense and no headphone jack

HTC launched the U Ultra early this year, but the reviews were largely negative. Now, the company looks to be preparing for its "true" flagship in 2017 with the HTC U11. We've seen a few leaks of this device, but nothing as good as this. It seems someone who attended a briefing with the phone jumped the gun and posted their hands-on. We get plenty of angles on the phone and a demo of the new Edge Sense feature.

HTC's upcoming flagship may be branded 'HTC U 11' and come in five different colors

We've been hearing about the "HTC Ocean" for months, and just the other day HTC finally teased it as part of the U line. We believed at the time it would simply be called the HTC U, but our old friend Evan Blass says the final name will be "HTC U 11." It's apparently HTC's way of bridging its old and new naming scheme.

HTC U leak reveals full specs, Edge Sense feature details, plus 4 microphones and dual speakers

The HTC U, codenamed Ocean, is the hottest item in the rumor mill now that the Galaxy S8 has been announced. The last we heard about the U, it was supposed to launch in April with a Snapdragon 835, 5.5" WQHD display, 12MP back cam and 16MP front cam, and Android 7.1. The headline feature though is the sensors around the frame that can detect your squeezes and swipes across the edges.

Now Android Headlines seems to have come across the HTC U's presentation doc and thanks to it, we learn a bit more about the phone. Specs-wise, we have a confirmation about the processor, screen, and Android version, though there's no mention of either cameras' resolution.

2017 Moto X leaks in several photos, doesn't impress with specs or design

Ever since the Lenovo takeover, Moto's design language has changed pretty drastically. The unique material choices and dual front-facing speakers of yesteryear have been ditched for front-mounted fingerprint sensors, more obnoxious-looking cameras, and metal and glass designs. The latest edition of this comes in the form of the 2017 Moto X, which has just been leaked in several photos. It's not a looker.

[Update: Another pic] More images and European pricing for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 plus leak

Technology leaks aren't uncommon in the first place, but pre-launch pictures and information regarding Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 plus in particular have been hugely abundant. We've seen press shots, we've seen live pictures and videos; hell, we've even seen leaked documents from other devices confirming some highly-anticipated features. Now, serial leaker @evleaks has spilled some more pictures of the S8 lineup, as well as some pricing details.

Google may be working on a large third phone or tablet, codenamed 'taimen'

Just yesterday, Android Police exclusively reported on the codenames of the next Pixel phones, 'muskie' and 'walleye.' Google's products have long carried codenames inspired by aquatic animals, such as 'hammerhead' (Nexus 5), 'shamu' (Nexus 6), 'angler' (Nexus 6P), etc. Now, we're hearing that Google may have a third device, codenamed 'taimen,' in the works.

Google's next Pixel phones are likely codenamed 'muskie' and 'walleye'

Corroborating information provided to us by a source, we can share the first public sighting of Google's next-generation Pixel phones: in the Android Open Source Project gerrit (and yes, that means it's running Android). We've only seen one of the phones - walleye - which we believe will be the smaller of Google's new Pixel devices. Muskie, the larger of the two, has not yet appeared. (For reference, last year, we only ever saw Marlin in the AOSP gerrit - there's no guarantee Muskie will ever show up there.)

At this point, we don't have any more information about the devices that we are yet confident enough to share.

The latest Galaxy S8 photo leak is the most flattering yet

Gadget news reporters are kind of like grown-up versions of those kids who just can't help but peek at their Christmas presents. And at this point in the metaphor, Samsung is probably ready to smack some little punks if they don't stop peeling back the wrapping paper. We're still a solid month away from the (very probable) public announcement of the Galaxy S8 and S8+, but we're now getting near-daily leaks of the final design. Today's peek under the tree comes courtesy of BGR.

Press shot of the Samsung Galaxy S8 leaks

It has leaked in various forms about a zillion times, and now the Galaxy S8 has leaked as an apparently official press render. This leak comes courtesy of the one and only Evan "evleaks" Blass. It looks pretty much like you'd expect from all the previous leaks.
