Can you tell the story of how you fixed the ID process with some excel smarts?

It’s nothing interesting. I “looked like a guy who knows Excel”, which is true, so they asked me to fix their artifact of an Excel workbook that generates paper documentation, I simplified the process down to simply inputting one set of data once and linking it across multiple workbooks.

In response, they fast-tracked issuing me a new ID as much as physically possible (I went there just before the New Year and it was ready after the holidays).

I wish we could bypass bureaucracy nonsense with these things more often.
