I'm not saying that I support dear white people (I haven't seen it ) or anything but I feel like this guy completely misses the point of what people like Reggie are saying, they aren't saying that ONLY white people have ever enslaved people ever in the history of the world, Reggie is obviously referring to American history (because this is really the only history most Americans know ) and throughout most of American history it is true that white people have oppressed black people, now that's not saying every white person ever has oppressed black people.

People like the guy in this video make conservatives look bad because there are legit arguments to have like artistically speaking the title alone "dear white people" excludes white people from the art for something they have no control over (being white ). But instead people like the guy in this video choose to interpret the oppositions arguments in the most extreme way possible (like the opposition does with conservative arguments). You aren't going to change anyone's minds like this .
