hello and salutations brothers!
i am soon to be expatriating out of US by year's end.
the job is well over six figures and additionally covers all my
expenses. literally all of them. car, phone, utilities, stipend,
per diem, housing, AND an obscene 'bonus'. the job will last
as long as i am willing to be there; most assume that none
want to live out of the US and thus a premium must be paid,
in order to -entice- people of my make and model to live under "hardship".
all of that is only taxed, up to a fixed amount and the rest is take-home.
by my calculation, i would need to gross over 220k, to net that.
basically 11k a month, in my pocket. no bills, no nothing.
the job will allow me to travel most of asia and europe
within a year. it covers a week-long all expenses-paid trip
to anywhere in the world. twice a year, non-consecutive.
no kids. no real debt. no mortgage. no ties.
been out of college... a little over five years.
hoping to effectively retire in another ten.
hang in there brothers, dreams come true.
ADDENDUM: my property and cargo boxes will be open
to my young colleagues; wherein they are free to loaf
and live freely, off-grid so long as their hearts desire.
it would be wonderful, upon seeing it after some time
that i find that more boxes have arrived and it has grown
into a small commune of like-minded people. i digress
if and when it is time, i will completely relinquish my
US citizenship entirely; leaving random off-grid
one-way-trip cargo containers in my wake.
i will see you all, on that road.
there is nothing i want more in the world, than for you all to be free...
be well my brothers, be well.
